I’m excited to share that I’ll be speaking at two outstanding community-driven data and AI conferences this year:
- Day of Data Albany — August 8, 2026, in Albany, New York
- Boston Data & AI Saturday — October 3, 2026, in Burlington, Massachusetts
As someone who recently joined Google Cloud as a Database Sales Specialist focused on Healthcare and Life Sciences, these events provide an incredible opportunity to connect with data professionals, database administrators, architects, engineers, analysts, and AI practitioners from across the Northeast.
Community conferences have played an important role throughout my career. They bring together people who are passionate about solving real-world problems with data, sharing lessons learned, and helping others grow professionally. Whether you’re just starting your journey or have decades of experience, there is always something new to learn and someone new to meet.
Day of Data Albany NY
Day of Data Albany is a community-focused technical conference hosted by the Capital Area SQL Server User Group. The event covers a wide range of topics including relational and non-relational databases, analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, administration, and data platform technologies.
The conference attracts attendees ranging from students and newcomers to seasoned industry experts, creating a unique environment for learning and collaboration.
Boston Data & AI Saturday
Boston Data & AI Saturday continues the long tradition of community-led technical education in New England. Hosted at the Microsoft Technology Center in Burlington, Massachusetts, the event features sessions spanning data engineering, analytics, AI, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, cloud technologies, career development, and emerging trends in the data ecosystem.
These events are powered by volunteers, speakers, sponsors, and attendees who believe in sharing knowledge and strengthening the technical community.
Why Community Matters
The data and AI landscape continues to evolve at an incredible pace. Technologies such as generative AI, modern database platforms, cloud-native architectures, and intelligent applications are reshaping how organizations operate.
Community events provide a place where professionals can move beyond marketing messages and discuss real implementation experiences, successes, challenges, and lessons learned. Some of the most valuable conversations happen not only during sessions but also in hallways, lunch breaks, and networking discussions.
Looking Forward
I’m grateful to the organizers for the opportunity to contribute and share my experiences. I look forward to meeting attendees, learning from fellow speakers, and engaging with the vibrant data and AI communities in both New York and Massachusetts.
If you’re planning to attend either event, I’d love to connect. Feel free to stop by my session, introduce yourself, and share what you’re working on.
See you in Albany on August 8 and in Boston on October 3!
